My Wife and I started this tree about a year ago after watching an episode 
of "Who do You Think You Are?" on the BBC.  Since then things have gotten a 
little out of hand up to the point where, at last count, we had 9000+ people in 
the tree.  

Buried deep in the morass of names you'll find Kings and Queens, politicians and
famous musicians but, more often than not, the roots of our true,common, 
heritage; plain ordinary people who worked off the land, stuggled to make ends 
meet and where Death was a far closer companion that he is today.

The vast majority of what you'll find here is the result of good, honest 
research with very few leaps of faith (if any) as far as family connections 
go.  This was never intended to be a fanciful leap into the past but an attempt 
to pass on the truth of our past for the coming generations.
